Pre-purchase sizing · Oeiras, Lisbon What size bike should you buy? Your height alone can't answer that.
Brand charts mostly look at height. I look at your body, and tell you which geometry, reach and stack to look for before you spend money.

If you book the bike fit within 1 month, this fee is deducted from the price.
You buy with the numbers in hand, not blind.
I do the full biomechanical analysis, take your measurements and look at what your body allows. With that I tell you whether your geometry is race or endurance, and which reach and stack to look for: how far you'll stretch and how high the front of the bike sits.
Then you tell me how much you want to spend and I point out the options that fit your measurements within that amount.

Stack and reach
Stack tells you how high the front of the bike sits; reach, how far you'll stretch. Unlike "size 54" or "M", they can be compared across brands.
Already have a bike and the problem is your position? The right service is a bike fit: Bike Fit Urbano (1h30, €97) if you ride in normal shoes, or Bike Fit Performance (3h, €127) if you use clipless shoes.
Questions before you book
How much is Sizing and how long does it take?
€79 · 1h. If you book a bike fit (Urbano or Performance) within 1 month of the Sizing, the €79 is deducted from the price.
Why isn't the brand's size chart enough?
Brand charts mostly look at height. Two people of the same height can have different leg and torso lengths and very different flexibility. Your body decides how far you can stretch and how high the front of the bike should be.
What are stack and reach?
They are the two numbers that describe the front of a frame. Stack is the vertical height from the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube: how high the front of the bike sits. Reach is the horizontal distance between the same two points: how far you will stretch. Unlike "size 54" or "M", they can be compared across brands.
Race or endurance: what's the difference?
In general, a race frame has a lower, longer front for a more stretched position; an endurance frame has a taller, shorter front for a more upright one. Which fits depends on your body, not only on what you want to do with the bike.
Do I need to bring a bike?
If you already have a bike, bring your current one. If you don't have one yet, you don't need to bring one.
Do you recommend brands and models?
I point out the options that fit your measurements within the amount you want to spend. The final choice and the purchase are yours.
And after I buy the bike?
A frame of the right size still has to be adjusted to you: saddle, stem, bars, pedals and, if you ride clipless, the cleats. That is the bike fit: Urbano (€97) if you ride in normal shoes, or Performance (€127) if you use clipless shoes. If you book it within 1 month of the Sizing, the Sizing fee is deducted from it.
